Installation Process and Preparatory of Jaw Crusher

Before the installation of the jaw crusher, it is necessary to check whether the basic manufacturing is right, and whether the installation complies to the manufacturer's drawings and manufacturing technology conditions. After adjusting all degree of curvature of the centerline, you should check the positions of the foundation bolt holes are correctly and set the foundation bolts. At the same time, you should also use the plumb line or template to check if the installation location of foundation bolts conforms to the drawings.
First, install the rack of the jaw crusher and use the level and plumb line to check the position of the shaft centerline. Mat a pad between the bracket and the foundation. Then you can adjust the level of the position of rack. There should be sufficient bonding surface between the pad and the rack so that there will be no skew phenomenon when the bolts are closed. The size and location of the pad should be used according to the size of the rack and the position of the foundation bolts. When you install the rack on the basis, you must remain a 2-3 cm gap between the base and the foundation so that irrigation of the cement paste is easy. After the installation of the rack, you can irrigate the cement paste.
After the cement paste is solidified and the foundation bolts are tightened, you can continue to install the remaining parts of the jaw crusher. In order to reduce the shaking and vibration, you had better not directly install the jaw crusher on the concrete foundation, but should install it on a shelf made of square timber. Sometimes, you can put a spring pad between the rack and the foundation to absorb the noise and the vibration. When you install the jaw crusher on the square timber, the horizontal position of the jaw crusher can be adjusted by the desired thickness of the scappled square timber.
If the nuggets smoothly enter the crushing roller and the processing capacity and granularity of the discharged finished products are in full compliance with the requirements of technical features, the jaw crusher can be handed over to use.
Before starting the jaw crusher, be sure to check the following items, such as pulleys, gears, side bearings, bushings, wheel taut cone, the liner and the tension of the insurance spring. You should specifically proceed from the following aspects. First, check whether there is lubricating oil in the bearing. Second, check if the drive belts are in good condition. Third, check the width of the opening between the rolls. Fourth, check the loading chute and discharge chute.
