Improvements of the Positioning Means of Cone Crusher


Cone crusher with large crushing ratio, high yield, small power consumption and uniform particle size is suitable for the hard ore, which is widely used in the mining machinery industry. Among the cone crushers, the standard-type cone crusher and the short-head cone crusher are most widely used. In the production and application, we often find that the fixed location between the bowl-shape bearing block and the watt of the supporting movable cone is not reasonable, which causes the dislocation between the bowl-shaped watt and the bowl-shaped bearing so that the oil return hole of the bowl-shaped bearing is blocked which has a great impact on the normal operation of the crushing machine. In terms of the existing problems in the operation, we should improve the positioning of the cone crusher.
The bowl-shaped bearing is composed of the bowl-shaped seat, the bowl tile and other parts. The bowl-shaped watt is installed in the hole of the bowl-shaped block. There is no oil return groove or the hole on the bowl-shaped block and the bowl-shaped watt. You can distribute 12 dowel holes (blind hole) of 16mm at the outer edge of the bowl-shaped seat and stuff 10 dowel pins. The two symmetrical locations are used to install the copper tile rings. 12 holes should be drilled on the corresponding position of the bowl-shaped watt. Two of the holes are used to install the rings, and the remaining 10 holes are used as the through-hole of 16mm. After you have positioned the bowl-shaped watt, you should ensure the oil return is smooth and unhindered. There should be certain clearance between the positioning pins and the copper tile hole. Then fill and fix the molten zinc alloy.
After in-depth analysis, the engineers decide to maintain the original location in the same way. Distribute 6 through hole of 19mm at the radius of the original positioning on the bowl-shaped seat and bowl-watt. Add a boss on the bowl-shaped seat to ensure that the screw will not bend after fastening.
According to the practice, there is no dislocation of the cone crusher in one year-old operation. The improvements have extended the maintenance cycle, reduced the labor intensity of the maintenance staff and saved the maintenance cost.
